- Has your school identified Vietnam, which ranks 5th among countries sending secondary and higher education students to the U.S., as a target country?
- Are you looking for an effective way to create a long-term, in country presence to explore a range of opportunities that would benefit both your institution and Viet Nam?
Capstone International Academic Centers (IACs) are a unique offshore development model for U.S. and other foreign institutions of higher education and education-related organizations and companies.
What is an IAC?
Capstone’s most ambitious institutional service is the establishment of International Academic Centers (IACs) in both offices. An IAC is a shared facility that serves as a home base from which an institution can promote its programs and services in Viet Nam, and even regionally. This includes having members of the Capstone team represent your school or on a shared basis.
The IACs provide a state-of-the art, multicultural, multilingual and collegial work environment for your in country representative to do her/his work. The centers are supported by an administration and marketing team, and include shared reception areas and conference rooms for meetings and presentations.
Some possible activities include the following:
Student recruitment, including representation at fairs, high school visits and related events
Working with a local agent network
Venue for meetings, information sessions, and training
Home base for visiting faculty and staff
Identify other opportunities in Viet Nam
We accept expressions of interest from officially accredited institutions of higher education (regionally accredited only, in the case of the U.S.), higher education consortia and secondary schools, as well as nonprofit organizations, professional associations, other non-profit organizations and private sector companies whose work is related to education. There is also an “IAC Lite” option for schools that wish to have part-time representation.
