STUDY IN THE USA- A DOOR TO YOUR FUTURE- MEET REPRESENTATIVES OF US UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES

The United States has for years been known to have one of the most advanced education systems in the world. US colleges and universities are consistently among the top-ranked higher education institutions in the world.  However, with more than 4,000 schools from which to choose, it is a challenge for students to find one that suits their interests and abilities. It is like finding a needle in a haystack. Instead of struggling with “TMI” (too much information), come to our spring StudyUSA Higher Education Fairs to meet with representatives from over 40 colleges and universities.  There you will get detailed and accurate information about a wide range of programs, including majors, cost, scholarship opportunities, living options, etc.

Capstone Vietnam is proud to organize the spring 2017 StudyUSA Higher Education Fairs in all three regions of Viet Nam.  The fairs provide useful information to students and their parents who are interested in study in the USA, one of the world’s best higher education systems.

The fairs will be held from 15h00 to 19h00 in the following four (4) cities:

  • Hanoi: Sunday, 5/3/2017 at the Pan Pacific Hotel (formerly Sofitel Plaza), 1 Thanh Nien Street, Ba Dinh District.

  • Danang: Tuesday, 7/3/2017 at the Novotel Hotel, 36 Bach Dang Street, Hai Chau District

  • Nha Trang: Thursday, 9/3/2017 at Sheraton Hotel, 26-28 Tran Phu Street, Nha Trang

  • Ho Chi Minh City: Saturday, 11/3/2017 at Rex Hotel, 141 Nguyen Hue Street, District 1

Besides attending Capstone’s fairs and speaking with representatives from over 40 US institutions of higher education, there are many other benefits:

  • Free flight consulting services from American Airlines

American Airlines (AA), one of the largest airlines in the world, will take you to any study destination with the most convenient routes, including two pieces of luggage throughout the journey at a very competitive price.

- Fair participants will receive information and advise from AA staff about direct flights to the U.S.

- Each fair participant will receive a 500,000 VND discount voucher when purchasing a direct flight ticket from American Airlines or Capstone Vietnam

- The opportunity to receive a one-way air ticket from Vietnam to any U.S. destination (Does not includes taxes and surcharges) from American Airlines. This attractive gift will awarded in a lucky draw among the first 10 people who become a Capstone client within 3 months after our spring 2017 StudyUSA Higher Education Fairs.

- Many other exciting gifts.

  • Student Visa Information

Consular officers from the US Mission or Capstone staff (depending upon the location) will provide an overview of the all-important student visa process.

  • Financial advisory and other forms of student loans:

In addition to academic requirements, procedures related to finances are one of the most important factors for parents and student meet the requirements for overseas study. During our spring 2017 StudyUSA Higher Education Fairs, VietinBank's financial adviser will give you quality and accurate advice about proof of ability to pay.

  • Major Orientation and Career Consultation

Another challenge is deciding what to study and then what career to pursue.  With that in mind Capstone Vietnam has invited Ms. Nguyen Thi Nam Phuong, founder and chief counselor of OCD, and as co-founder of Online Management Training (OMT) Company, to present at the fair. With more than 20 years of experience in human resource, management of information systems and restructuring and strategic management, Ms. Phuong has been one of the participants of the network of educators for Educational Experience for Children and Youth CISV (www.cisv.org) since 2006. Her main duty has been skills training and career orientation for young people. At the fairs, Ms. Phuong will present some important information to help each student be better prepared to choose a major and career based on an evaluation of their character and potential abilities. Furthermore, she will also give students some tips so that they will be ready for their first job in the future.

  • How to Prepare for Standardized Tests

Standardized tests are required by many four-year universities and colleges in the US. In addition, students who want to apply for financial aid or scholarship may have to take the SAT or the ACT as a requirement. At the fair, a speaker who specializes in SAT preparation will provide tips about how to successfully take these tests and briefly talk about the difficulties that students may face in the first weeks and months of studying in the US.

  • Information About the EB-5 Program

Parents of students who are currently studying in the US may be interested in learning about the EB-5 program for foreigners who want to apply for a US green card for themselves and their children under the age of 21 through investment.  The process takes only 8-24 months for the whole family to receive a green card.  The investor and the family will be entitled to the follow benefits:  The right to live, study and work anywhere in the US and most of the basic rights of a US citizen. Furthermore, the investor has the right to maintain both Vietnamese and US citizenship.  Parents will have the opportunity to speak with EB-5 specialists to learn more about this exciting program.

  • Free Overseas Study Advising Services

With more than 500 partners and educational organizations we make the US education picture more colorful. Capstone Vietnam believes that we can be a connecting bridge between the institutions and the students intending to study in one of the leading countries in economy and education. Capstone is pleased to give advising service to students and parents and help them find the most suitable alternative based on their potentials and financial ability.
